Are Bed Bugs Keeping You Up At Night?
If you’re waking up in the morning with itchy, red dots on your body, there’s a chance you’ve fallen prey to a bed bug infestation. Bed bugs have grown in number over the past decade or so, and pest control companies across the country are getting more and more calls about eliminating these tiny pests. If you’ve fallen victim to bed bugs, contact Albemarle Termite & Pest Control. We offer bed bug control services that will eradicate the bed bugs in your home or business and help you get back to sleeping soundly!
Our Bed Bug Control Process
Our bed bug control process begins with a free inspection. Before we treat for bed bugs, we need to confirm their identity and determine how widespread the infestation has become. We’ll perform a whole-house inspection, paying careful attention to bedding, furniture, carpets, curtains, cracks, and crevices.
Based on the findings of our inspection and the severity of your bed bug infestation, we’ll recommend either a three, six or nine week bed bug program. Your initial treatment can take between three and ten hours. We vacuum, then apply a conventional liquid treatment to baseboards, cracks, crevices, and furniture that we disassemble before the treatment. In some cases, we’ll also use a dust product in wall voids and electrical outlets.
The first follow-up treatment occurs two to three weeks after the initial treatment, where we’ll inspect your home and re-treat. For extended programs, we’ll continue to follow up once every three weeks and perform an inspection. If any signs of bed bugs are still present, we’ll treat your home again.
Quarterly Bed Bug Protection Plan
If you prefer a more preventative plan, our quarterly bed bug protection plan is a great choice. We will visit your home every 90 days to inspect. This service costs between $40-$70 per quarter and if any signs of bed bugs appear while the plan is in place, we’ll re-treat your home at no additional cost.
